Guinness ‘6 Nations’ // Promo Video
Guinness is the official Beer sponsor of Irish Rugby Team and 6 Nations. In 2012 Guinness asked us to help promote their association and sponsorship of the tournament by giving fans the opportunity to take part in their very own 6 Nations Rugby Challenge.
First we created an online promotional video which I co-wrote and directed using the 4 home nations Guinness rugby ambassadors; Jamie Heaslip (Ireland), Ben Foden (England), Jamie Roberts (Wales) and Sean Lamont (Scotland). We placed them in the changing room before the big match and mirrored their feelings and actions with those of the fans. We promoted the video via Facebook and Youtube which lead to a call to action for fans to enter the competition.
